Welcome: Jennifer Long
Please join us in welcoming Jennifer Long, our new senior director of new sales for Large Group in Washington. Jennifer has spent over 20 years as a health plan consultant in Washington for both regional and national firms. She’s served as a principal consultant and sales/practice leader, assuming increasing responsibilities for go-to-market strategies, growth, and retention. For example, Jennifer led the Regence BlueShield sales team to exceed their growth targets and then focused on sales strategy and enablement within a four-state footprint for the Cambia Health Solutions Chief Revenue Office.
Moving forward, Jennifer will be a passionate advocate for growth to the Kaiser Permanente broker channel and broader business community. She will support Keva Peairs, senior director of Large Group Account Management and our Large Group business line leader. Outside of work, Jennifer lives with her husband and teenagers in rural King County, where she operates her 5.5-acre farm as a nonprofit sanctuary for abused, neglected, or abandoned farm animals.
Congratulations: Colin Blyth
Colin Blyth is now the senior manager of Small Group, overseeing both account management and new sales. Colin joined Kaiser Permanente Washington last year with a strong small group background. Previously, Colin was a senior consultant with the national Small Group line of business team. He also managed the Small Group, Individual and Family, and Retail Sales teams for Kaiser Permanente of the Northwest.
Congratulations: Kelly Meehan-Cook
Kelly Meehan-Cook has moved over to lead our Strategic Accounts team. Given the significant membership and strategy involved with large customers such as the Public Employees Benefits Board (PEBB) and the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB), Kelly’s strong leadership and historic experience in Large Group make her an excellent leader for this role.

Keva has been promoted to senior director of Large Group Account Management and the Large Group business line leader. Keva’s extensive experience in Large Group and her leadership of Large Group New Sales, Strategic Accounts, and Large Group Account Management over the last year have demonstrated her strong leadership capabilities.
