As we enter our second year of offering the Silver&Fit® Healthy Aging and Exercise Program to all Medicare Advantage members at no cost, we encourage you to share the benefits of this program with our mutual clients. This program gives members access more than one fitness center per month* and up to 2 at-home workout kits per year. Choose from 35 unique kits, including Fitbit® Connected! — a workout kit that includes a Fitbit at no additional cost.
Basic Silver&Fit®
All members have access to the Basic Silver&Fit® fitness network. This network includes more than 14,000 fitness centers and select YMCAs nationwide, many of which offer fitness classes tailored to older adults, and those aging into Medicare. This network doesn’t include YMCAs in the Greater Seattle area or those in Pierce and Kitsap counties. It also doesn’t include Seattle’s Olympic Athletic Club or the West Seattle Health Club.
Premium Fitness Network
Based on feedback about the importance of accessing YMCAs in the Greater Seattle area and Pierce and Kitsap counties, as well as Seattle’s Olympic Athletic Club and the West Seattle Health Club, we worked with Silver&Fit® to include these locations. The Silver&Fit® Premium Fitness Network debuted in 2019 and gives members access to these locations as well as all Basic Silver&Fit® network locations. It will continue to be available in 2020.
These Premium Fitness Network locations — in addition to all Basic Silver&Fit® locations — are available to Essential, Optimal, Vital, and Group Medicare Advantage plan members at no additional cost:
