It’s almost time for producers to complete the annual Medicare compliance certification training. The training covers current Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) marketing requirements and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington’s 2020 Medicare Advantage (HMO) products and benefits. Training and exams need to be completed by September 30.
Producers who are Medicare certified with Kaiser Permanente Washington for the 2019 plan year will receive an email from us the week of August 19 with a link to the Miramar:Agent annual training program supported through Convey Health Solutions.
If you aren’t currently Medicare certified with Kaiser Permanente Washington and would like to represent our 2020 Medicare Advantage plans, contact our Medicare producer support team at 800-581-8252 or by email for more information.
If you’ve already completed your training through AHIP (America’s Health Insurance Plans), Pinpoint, or Convey Health Solutions, you can upload your 2020 Medicare, general compliance, and fraud, waste, and abuse certificates to the training website once you’ve started our 2020 external agent program. Once Miramar:Agent verifies and accepts your certificates, you’ll be allowed to bypass the Convey Core Medicare Training and proceed to the Kaiser Permanente Washington product training.
