We have begun updating and refreshing all our Kaiser 
Permanente Washington medical offices, starting with several locations in the Seattle area. Renovation work will continue in phases and when complete will total 2.1 million square feet in improvements. Medical offices will be open regular hours during renovation.
Many of the upcoming changes are the result of feedback we’ve received from our patients and employees. They include:
- Upgrading exam rooms to improve privacy and comfort.
- Making it easier for patients to find their way around the facilities.
- Creating family and small group areas, with comfortable spaces to rest, read, or play. Many facilities will also have a public space where community members can learn about local events, activities, community resources, and opportunities for health education.
- Establishing a consistent experience at all our medical facilities.
