As we head full speed into 2019, we’d like to thank you for your business during this time of rapid change and expansion at Kaiser Permanente Washington. Making it easier for employees of our mutual clients to get convenient care, and for you and your clients to do business with us, were goals at the heart of our growth and improvements in 2018, which included:
- Opening the Gig Harbor Medical Office in late December. The medical office is the first of 5 new locations we’re scheduled to add by 2020. Others will be in Ballard, South Lake Union, Smokey Point, and West Olympia.
- Adding dozens of new providers in the Spokane community. This was the result of welcoming Columbia Medical Associates into the Kaiser Permanente family. That acquisition began in 2011 and was completed on January 1, 2019.
- Introducing our Employer and Broker Services team to handle complex health plan issues and escalations for large group clients. The service has now been expanded to include small group clients and their producers.
- Refreshing and improving our secure producer portal. Features include more self-service tools and a new small group quoting tool.
- Launching our new business portal, which makes it easy for our mutual clients to manage their enrollment information and portal access.
We were delighted to see more than 700 producers at our Fall Producer Forums a few months ago, and we’re looking forward to working with you now and in the years ahead.
