For certain primary and specialty care appointments, Kaiser Permanente members will now receive an Advanced Explanation of Benefits (AEOB). The AEOB will provide a detailed estimate of the charges related to their upcoming visit so there are no surprises. This estimate will be automatically generated after a member schedules an appointment at least 3 days in advance and will be available to view on kp.org.
