We listened to your feedback on our commission methodology and we made some changes. Starting with July 2018 large group (51+) renewals, commission will change from a per member per month (pmpm) basis to a percentage of premium methodology. The change aligns us with industry standards and other Kaiser Permanente regions.
When developing each large group renewal, we will convert your group-specific commission from a pmpm to an equivalent percentage of premium and present that to you as a component of the renewal offering.
Groups sold on or after July 1, 2017, the commission percentage will remain the same at the first-year renewal unless you request a change.
