Kaiser Permanente Individual and Family plan binder payments are due by the end of December for coverage to be active on January 1, 2023. This applies to new members and to existing members who have made plan changes. Coverage will not be active until payment is received.
During open enrollment, members who buy plans through Washington Healthplanfinder can make their binder payments on the Washington Healthplanfinder site immediately after applying by using the Pay Now button. There’s no need to wait for an invoice.
New and renewing members you’ve helped signed up directly on Kaiser Permanente will be mailed a premium invoice in December. If members make plan changes after January invoices, they will see any adjusted premiums on the following month’s invoices. For members with December invoices, payment is due at the end of that month and can be made online by going to kp.org/wa/mypremium or by calling our Pay by Phone service at 844-632-2045. If members need help, they can call Member Services at 800-290-8900 (TTY 711).
