COVID-19: CDC recommends updated booster for children 5 and older

With holiday gatherings just around the corner, it’s important to protect yourself and your loved ones by getting a flu shot and an updated COVID-19 booster. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has authorized the updated COVID-19 booster vaccine for children 5 and up. Members can schedule an appointment for their flu shot and updated booster at all Kaiser Permanente facilities and can often get both vaccinations during the same visit.
